We started Essarion because good answers are hard to find.
Most of what anyone needs to know has already been written down somewhere: in papers, datasets, filings and archives. The hard part is finding the right pieces, reading them properly, and working out what they add up to.
That work takes time most people don’t have. So a lot of decisions end up resting on a headline, a summary, or whichever search result came first.
We build AI that does the reading. It goes to the sources, compares what they say, and gives you an answer with every claim linked back to where it came from, so you can check it yourself.
It’s meant to support your judgment, not replace it. The sources are always there, and so are the places where the evidence is thin or disagrees.
ResearchAnything, Sourcipedia and Essarion Science are three ways of putting that to work, from a quick question to a full scientific investigation. There’s a lot left to build, and we’re in it for the long run.

The bottleneck has changed.
Finding information used to be the hard part. Today, the answer to many questions already exists somewhere in papers, databases, filings, archives, and other sources. The difficult part is bringing all of it together and understanding what it adds up to. That is the problem we are interested in.

Reading matters more than retrieving.
Finding a link is not the same thing as understanding it. A useful system needs to compare sources, spot disagreements, separate established facts from open questions, and explain the result clearly. We want the reasoning to stay visible instead of hiding everything behind a polished paragraph.

One engine, multiple products.
ResearchAnything is the core research system. You ask a question and get an answer with the supporting sources. Sourcipedia takes that same system and turns it into a continuously updated knowledge base. Essarion Science pushes the idea further by planning experiments, working with real data, running analysis, and trying to prove its own conclusions wrong.

Show the work.
Every important claim should have something behind it. That is why sources are not an extra feature for us. They are part of the product. You should be able to move from the answer back to the material that supports it and make your own judgment.

Make it usable by anyone.
A powerful research system does not help much if you need to be an expert to operate it. We want people to be able to ask normal questions, get useful answers, and start digging deeper without learning a new language first.

Think longer term.
Building genuinely useful AI is not going to happen in one release. It will take better reasoning, more efficient systems, better infrastructure, and a lot of iteration. We are interested in the problems that still matter several years from now, not just whatever is getting attention this quarter.
